Our purpose is to create a unique holiday for you off the beaten track in the heart of Sri Lankan countryside. We aim to combine three aspects: a mango-themed orchard, a rustic stay and a gastro-cultural experience in the North Central Province. We love having family units over at Mango Tree Retreats, both local and foreign in search of that something different.

We are conveniently located near the central point of Sri Lanka next to the main road to the North at an established resting place for travelers. This makes Mango Tree Retreat an ideal budget stay for visitors to the famous historical Northern region.

Our orchard’s flagship crop is the TJC Mango®, sourced from the pioneers who developed it at Ellawala Horticulture (Pvt) Ltd. The coming year in 2025 is special for us, as our first batch of trees have matured enough to give the main harvest. It’s known to be probably the world’s biggest, juiciest mango! We will give our guests complimentary mangos straight from the orchard to enjoy as a unique experience.
